Watch Esports this Weekend

If you’re interested in seeing some of the top League of Legends teams from around the world compete live, get ready for a flurry of must-see competitive events this weekend.
IntelEM New York EU Qualifiers
IntelEM New York, the third stop on the Intel Extreme Masters tour, is fast approaching, and this weekend the top teams in Europe are battling it out for a chance to qualify. Teams from both EU West and EU Nordic & East are competing for the three spots available to EU teams, and beyond that, to win part of the $32,000 prize pool at IntelEM New York.

Teams will face off in a double elimination matchup. You can check out the bracket, as well as the results after they happen, by visiting the IntelEM NY Qualifier website.
Last weekend North American teams Rock Solid, Rez, TSM and Curse qualified for the IntelEM New York stop. In addition to the winners this weekend and the North American contenders, the winner of the Asian qualifier will round out the group of eight teams competing in New York.

Nations Championship
Community-selected all-star teams from six countries around the world are competing in a worldwide tournament in the Nations Championship. Last weekend saw Team USA and Team Germany go undefeated, with team Canada following close behind and Team France, Spain, and Poland rounding out the group. Each team is competing for $5,000 in prizing. This weekend will feature the third and fourth matches of the group stage to determine who will make it to the playoffs.

The teams start their international battle royal at 21:00 BST on Friday with Canada vs Germany. The stream and additional times throughout this weekend can be found at the Nations Championship website.
WellPlayed.org Presents Rampage
For something a little different than the normal tournament structure, check out Rampage, the League of Legends King of the Hill series. Each week for six weeks, teams from North America and Europe will compete in a king of the hill style matchup.
Starting off the tournament will be Rock Solid, recent winners of the North American IntelEM New York qualifiers, against compLexity. Rock Solid, known for their all-out aggressive play style, is sure to put on a show.
