Our friends at Team Curse have teamed up with LoLPro for an all-new event: the Reign of Gaming International Invitational. Sixteen of the best teams from North America and another 16 from Europe received invitations to an epic series of best-of-three showdowns. Teams invited thus far encompass all those with Riot power rankings in Europe and North America ,including Moscow 5, Against All Authority, Team SoloMid, Counter League Gaming and Dignitas, as well as Team Curse itself.
The first round of online matches begun on April 29th – scheduled individually by teams – followed by a second round running from May 12th-13th and a third round from May 19th-20th. All three rounds will be live streamed on Curse’s Twitch TV channel and subsequently posted on YouTube. Hawkeye, Plutosnotaplanet, and special guest Elementz will call the games as they happen. Four finalists – two from each region – will receive plane tickets to San Francisco, where they will go head to head for a combined prize pool of $20,000.
