Earlier this week we took a look at some of the contenders traveling to Kiev to do battle in Group A this weekend. Today we’ll be recapping all those competitors poised to compete in Group B. There’s plenty of talent to go around in this tournament, so this group promises to be just as exciting to watch as its counterpart!
Let’s take a look at the teams representing Group B at the Cybersports Arena in Kiev!
Against All Authority
Although they took second place in the League of Legends Season One Championship, relations between the players began to deteriorate early in the new season. In the wake of these morale issues, the team has since reformed as Against All Authority without prominent support player Kujaa. Although their lineup contains many tournament veterans, aAa has yet to score any points in the Season Two Challenger Circuit since reforming. This could be their chance to prove themselves once again in international competition.
Roster:

  • Osaft – Support
  • Yellowstar – Attack Damage Carry
  • Linak – Jungler
  • Soaz – Solo top
Moscow Five
After taking the competitive world by surprise with their upset victory over SK Gaming in the losers bracket of the IntelEM Kiev qualifiers, Moscow Five has continued to dominate the prized event scene in Europe. Claiming victory after victory in both Go4LoL and ESL Major Series IX, early game aggression and high mobility team compositions seem to be the hallmarks of this up and coming team’s gameplay.
As this is Moscow Five’s first appearance at a live event, we look forward to seeing if they perform as well in person as they do in an online setting.
Roster:
  • Alex Ich – Ability Power Carry
  • Gosu Pepper – Support
  • Genja – Attack Damage Carry
  • Diamond – Jungler
  • Darien – Solo top
Dignitas
A mainstay in the North American tournament scene since the pre-season began, Dignitas currently holds the 4th place position in the North American Challenger Circuit. They have already shown impressive performances at many Challenger Circuit events, including a first place finish at IGN Pro League 3: Origin and third place finish at MLG Providence. Since these victories, however, they have replaced longtime jungle player Jatt with I Will Dominate, making this their first competitive event with their new lineup.
Although they attended Intel EM Global Challenge New York, Dignitas failed to place strongly enough to secure their place in the World Championships in Hannover Germany.
Roster:
  • Scarra – Ability Power Carry
  • L0CUST – Support
  • Imaqtpie – Attack Damage Carry
  • I Will Dominate – Jungler
  • Voyboy – Solo top
Sypher
Currently holding 4th place in the European Challenger Circuit, French powerhouse Sypher has proven time and time again that they are worthy of competing on the international stage. Claiming 3rd place at the last Global Challenge event in New York City, Sypher has been staying sharp by competing in the prized event scene.
Although they are one of the front runners for placement at the World Championships, Sypher is yet to be assured a spot in Hannover. Their finish in Kiev will determine whether or not they advance to compete for the IntelEM World Championship.
